Joey Jacques started scuba diving with his father in 1957 at the Theater of the Sea, located in the Florida Keys. Exploring the ocean became Joey’s obsession. From 1968 til 2018, Joey Jacques Founded and Directed the “Central Ohio School of Diving”, teaching scuba diving and hosting dive trips worldwide for thousands of Ohioans.
“My dream was to offer land-locked Ohioans the treasure chest of the sea. Whether it’s schooling hammerhead sharks from the Galapagos islands or diving into the Egyptian Red Sea where there exists mind boggling concentration of reef fish in swirling schools, dolphins, sharks and shipwrecks, or the island of Bonaire, which is off the coast of Venezuela. Orange cup corals, tube sponges, eels, turtles and angelfish to name a few of Bonaire’s underwater gems. So, I took thousands of underwater pictures of exotic marine ecosystems to share with those who could not join us. As the Father of a humanitarian, my son, Joseph Jacques, Director of Harmonic Humanity has for 11 years provided JOBS for those less fortunate on the streets. I’m honored and proud to offer the sales of my work to the continued efforts of Harmonic Humanity.

Rick Prebeg has pursued a lifelong dream of traveling to all 7 continents and photographing wildlife & world cultures–from the steamy jungles of Borneo, the vast savannahs of Africa, to remote China–and more! Spanning over 40 years, Rick has worked with the Columbus Zoo and Jack Hanna. His work with Jack involved the production of the Emmy-award winning TV shows “Jack Hanna’s Into the Wild” and “Jack Hanna’s Animal Adventures” for 25 years. He managed all the TV shoots, the destination & story selections and overall travel logistics. Rick’s work captures the awe-inspiring world of nature and the cultures that call our Earth “home”!
During his time at the Columbus Zoo he worked closely with Mr. Joey Jacques–renowned for his SCUBA career and amazing photographs from under the sea. There’s just about no ocean that Joey hasn’t dived, and he has documented all of it!
